Gay Pride

We are just on Gay Pride season. Lots of cities (including mine) had already been the place of gay parades and parties as well as other events that are tools to fight against discrimination and prejudice. I will post below a calendar with some of the Gay Prides that will take place soon. Later I will write more about some specific marchs.

Just an advise for those who are in Madrid this weekend: Madrid Pride is hosting this year the Europride. They are expecting around 2 million people in the march between Puerta de Alcalá and Plaza de España, passing in Gran Vía.
Europride is an international lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and asexual gay pride event that is hosted by a different European city each year. The host city is usually one with an established gay pride event, or one which has a significant LGBTA community. This year the host is Madrid and in 2008 it will be Stockholm hosting the Europride. Since 1992 Europride has taken place all over Europe.
